I don't know the tech on this, but when you hold it in your hand it feels "light" as in maybe they have size C batteries inside with an air gap to make the batter fit into your device, but perhaps with reduced battery life. Buyer beware, do your research.Been using them for roughly a couple years in a mag-lite. As the mag-lite has an led, you don't notice power drop-off right away. Then it hits and the batteries go down to nearly nothing almost instantly. Other than that - duty cycle seems about the same as alkaline? Of the two pair I've purchased, there were no failures.Haven't had an opportunity to use them yet but I'm pretty disappointed already. These are labeled as only having 2500 mah capacity. That's about the same as a quality AA rechargeable. They feel super light. I expected better from Energizer but I guess it's partially my own fault for ordering without checking the specs. Not worth it to go through the hassle of returning, but in the future I'll be buying a different brand of D cells.SosoCharge don't last longI have used these D cell batteries for years. Checking the specs on items you buy is very important so you won't be disappointed. I use these for several standby flashlights around the house. LED flashlights just don't need the same amount of power that the older style lights did. I like these because they are very light weight in the flashlight. It's true they don't last as long as the 10,000 mah batteries but for my application they work great. If you have a high drain device like anything with a motor you will not be happy with these but with an infrequently used low power drain device these work very reliably for years.Glad I purchased these rechargeable batteries. Tired of buying the regular batteries. They deteriorate and need replaced which cost more money. This is the way to go.They last longer then my regular batteriesDon't bother. I, like others, was fooled by the name and expected a quality product. They weight next to nothing and will scarcely run the toy they were purchased for. They have been returned and I have learned to read specs more carefully... or at all in this case.I really wish I looked at the MAH before buying. I figured Energizer is a reputable brand, but was disappointed to learn that these are essentially AA batteries crammed in a shell. They even feel light. Please research your needs before you buy. I think Energizer did this to conform to it's own chargers, but these batteries don't last long. Terrible product. Don’t get fooled by the brand. It does not have a good mAH as it will drain quickly. The amazon listing does not state how it performs and this Dcell battery should be pulled as it is deceiving customers to make you think that it will work like a normal Dcell battery. It’s crap.
